Treating Migraine & Other Headaches
Millions of Americans suffer from migraine headaches, which involve several debilitating symptoms, such as visual and auditory disturbances, nausea/vomiting, sensitivity to light, irritability and fatigue. Normally drug therapy has traditionally been used to treat migraine. Normally, it takes multiple visits to a health care practitioner before an effective combination of medicines can be found. Patients often become frustrated.  Many are concerned about using so many prescription drugs. Massage therapy and other nontraditional treatments are being used more and more to help migraine sufferers experience positive outcomes and lasting relief.
Erin has received training for Muscle restore (MR), a technique developed by instructor and massage therapist Ed Sternberg of Cross Country Education. This is an effective way of treating several common chronic conditions, including migraine headaches, fibromyalgia, sciatica, carpal tunnel syndrome and muscle spasms. This approach is based on the philosophy of treating the client completely, not just the condition.
Erin has also received certification training for:
NeuroMuscular Therapy for Cervical/Cranium Muscles: Cervical & Cranial, TMJ dysfunction, Cervical pain, Military neck, Whiplash, Headaches and Degenerative disks
NeuroMuscular Therapy for Lower Extremity Muscles: Hip, Thigh, Knee, Leg and Foot, Sciatica, Knee pain, Bunions, Fallen arches and Degenerative hip
NMT is a highly effective (American Version TM) technique for the elimination of pain caused by soft tissue or muscular injury.
Training was received from Don Kelley of the NMT Center in Orlando.
Finally, Erin is certified  in Holistic Manual Lymph Drainage from the MLD Institute.
